Brian Block

Executive Director, Office of Budget and Planning, GSA

Brian Block serves as the Executive Director for the Office of Budget and Planning for the General Services Administration (GSA), where he oversees the formulation and execution of GSA’s approximately $40 billion budget. Besides overseeing GSA’s budget processes, Brian and his team advise GSA’s programs and assist with financial modeling, revenue forecasting, rate setting, and business case analysis. Brian has worked in various roles at GSA over the last 16 years within GSA’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Brian received his M.B.A. from the University of Georgetown and his undergraduate degree from the College of William of Mary. In his spare time, Brian enjoys reading, playing basketball and volleyball, and spending time with his wife and dog.
