Bio
Dan Basile is the head of product for Ascensus’ retirement division. Dan’s team is responsible for the full lifecycle of Ascensus’ retirement product offering from idea conceptualization through delivery and, including, ongoing management of the product set.
Prior to joining Ascensus, Dan was a managing director and the head of product management for BlackRock’s U.S. & Canada defined contribution business. He led product efforts across both institutional and advisor-sold sales channels, while overseeing the team responsible for all aspects of product delivery, including pricing, implementation, and driving the technology agenda. Previously, Dan served in a number of senior positions across retirement, benefits outsourcing, and technology at Aon Hewitt and MetLife.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Gettysburg College and holds his Series 7, 66, and 24 licenses.
