Pierre is HDR’s Global Water Treatment Technical Director and is responsible for the technical execution of HDR’s drinking water quality and treatment projects throughout the world. In his 25 years at the company, he has worked on anything from a 50 gpm filter plant on the last inhabited island of Alaska’s Aleutian Archipelago to the 1,400 MGD Catskills-Delaware Aqueduct for New York City. His work has also included multiple projects in the Middle East and East Asia. His personal technical backgrounds include coagulation processes, membrane filtration, UV disinfection, corrosion control, and now potable reuse. He has his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University and his Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington. He is a licensed professional engineer in several US states and one Canadian province.
