Heidi is the Creator and Farmer at Stems Flower Farm, a small eight-acre flower farm just outside of Cookstown. Heidi has been farming flowers for 15 years, growing unique varieties for the floral trades. Over the last five years, she has dedicated her fields to producing specialty cut flowers and flower seed for Canadian growers. Stems Flower Farm seed shop is home to over 1,200 varieties of flower, vegetable, and herb seed. Since 2017, Heidi has shared her knowledge of growing specialty cut flowers, and the flower farming business as a frequent speaker at seed and horticultural events.
