Ill. Sir David Krogh is a Past Potentate of Abu Bekr Shrine Temple in Sioux City, Iowa and serves as the Public Relations Chairman. Ill. Sir Krogh is starting his 8th year as a member of the Shriners Children’s-Twin Cities Board of Governors. Krogh has served on all standing committees of the Twin Cities Board of Governors and was previously the Chairman of the Marketing & Communications committee. Active in Masonic appendant bodies, Krogh is a Past Master of Omadi Lodge No. 5 A.F. & A.M. in South Sioux City, Nebraska, a 32° K.C.C.H. in the Sioux City Scottish Rite, a Past Director and Impresario of ROJ Sioux City Court 124, Past President & Director General of the Central States Shrine Association in 2019, an Emeritus member of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Colorado Corporation, and is an Imperial Marshal’s Aide.
Ill. Sir Krogh’s professional career spans work in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Growing up in a family business involving a retail hardware store and marine dealership, Krogh returned to the family business following college. Krogh was as an Investment Broker for many years, and was also the Executive Director of a major Siouxland arts organization. Ill. Sir Krogh has had the honor of serving on many local non-profit Boards and Foundations.
Ill. Sir Krogh resides in Dakota City, Nebraska with his Lady Lisa and is the proud dad to two sons, Christian and Christopher Krogh. Christian is a proud Master Mason and Christopher has petitioned to receive the Degrees of Freemasonry. As an Ambassador of Fun & Phellowship, Krogh enjoys traveling the Realm and building life-long friendships. As an alum of the Cornhusker Marching Band, and life-long Nebraska Cornhusker football fan, Krogh’s humility and self-deprecating sense of humor are second only to his love of Family and our grand and noble fraternity.
