Carol was raised in Fresno California. She has been married to Doug almost 40 years and they have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. She retired from the Beaverton School district where she worked in the Superintendent’s office and Community Involvement office and served as recording secretary for the school board. Besides her involvement in non-profit organizations with Doug, she has personally come alongside several people struggling with addiction and homelessness and would like to find a way to improve support for social services organizations who are overwhelmed with the demands and ill equipped to address the underlying issues of homelessness.
