Head of Respiratory Investigations, North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust

I have been a Respiratory Physiologist for 22 years and have worked at Royal Papworth Hospital, Hinchingbrooke and now North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. I am the Head of the Respiratory Investigations department of which our diagnostics provide services at 3 out of the 5 hospitals. I am an ARTP (Association for Respiratory Technology and Physiology) executive board member and chair of the ARTP Events committee. I am the chair of the Regional Heads of Department Respiratory Physiology group and am a part of the East of England Respiratory Network promoting healthcare science. I love working with patients and developing patient centred pathways. I have strong links with primary care and the North Alliance to provide joined up care from primary to secondary providers. The Respiratory investigations team as a innovating unit and is constantly adapting practices to allow more patient focused care.
