Maria Coviello - The Resourceful Crafty
Taking her cue from the imaginings of her young children, Maria developed a knack for envisaging the use of objects in a myriad of ways.
And so began the journey of The Resourceful Crafty.
Utilising repurposed craft materials, Maria works with participants through the medium of open and honest conversation to re-imagine their stories and ideas until they materialise in the form of craft.
Bec James - Bec's Treehouse Art School
Bec James is a Darebin artist who has exhibited both internationally and locally.
Her business; Bec’s Treehouse Art School’ has been running for 15 years at various shopping centres, artist residencies and festivals, including Moomba, Womadelaide and Federation Square's Viva Festival.
Bec has worked extensively for the City of Darebin within the community and currently creates mural commissions while also teaching art classes from her studio in Reservoir.
