Gyllian Carter is an Emmy Award winning television producer. Her varied production experience runs the gamut from daytime talk, reality, celebrity awards to court shows. In addition, she was instrumental in the creative process for several start-up series picked up by major cable networks.
She began her career in Los Angeles as a producer in daytime talk, including Dr. Phil and The Tyra Banks Show. Gyllian won her first Emmy Award for producing Cristina’s Court, the very first court show to win a daytime Emmy. She helped produce Viacom’s two biggest awards shows; MTV Movie Awards and MTV Video Music Awards.
Her work also includes one of the first series on OWN Network; “Extreme Clutter!" with Peter Walsh -- a reality series that helped homeowners and families reorganize and de-clutter their lives. Gyllian moved from LA to Chicago after being asked to join Harpo Studios and work with Oprah Winfrey. While at Harpo Studios, she helped produce Oprah’s Life Class, and helped launch Iyanla Fix My Life, one of OWN Network’s most successful reality series.
