Brandi Simpson

I am a consultant at one of twenty Texas education service centers in San Antonio, right in the heart of Texas. I have the pleasure of working with students, teachers, and instructional leaders across the 19 counties we serve. I have a passion for building teacher capacity in curriculum implementation, lesson design, and innovative teaching practices. I am very involved in mathematics education, currently serving as as the Texas representative for NCTM, and work with K-12 math teachers to deepen their own mathematical understanding and consider the implications for instruction. I believe our students have creative perspectives as to what mathematics truly is, and that we help nurture their exploration of their world through the lens of mathematics.
