I am the West Regional Director of the Benjamin Banneker Association (BBA); affiliate of NCTM. In addition to being an Assistant Principal at two schools in LAUSD, I provide instructional support in effective mathematical strategies based upon the work of primarily Catherine Fosnot, Jo Boaler, and Megan Frankie to engender success for students through hands-on project-based conceptual lessons aligned to the Standards of Mathematical Practice to anyone who will listen. I am very passionate about mathematics; it’s not just what I do – it’s who I am! With Mathematics I can…for I am beyond measure.
