Bio
Working under Ranking Member Debbie Stabenow, he manages climate change and sustainability issues across the committee’s jurisdiction and also leads the panel’s work on pesticide policy and forestry matters. Prior to coming to the Agriculture Committee staff in 2015, Babington served as Senior Policy Advisor to U.S. Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) since 2009, handling agriculture, energy and environmental issues for the Senator. Sean earned his B.A. in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder, graduating summa cum laude. He also holds a Masters in Policy Management from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University.
