Ivo is the Technical Manager at Mayfair Marine and is a highly experienced Chartered Naval Architect and Marine Engineer with 25 years in the industry. His vast expertise has been used in engineering and commercial project management of large yachts, ship building and renewable energy sectors. He has been a key figure in the management of several large-scale, multi-disciplinary, yacht projects with budgets exceeding €100 million.
Ivo is also a renowned academic and has successfully completed a Doctorate in Engineering at the University of Southampton, specialising in the use of hydrogen as a marine fuel and he also completed his MBA at Koç University, Istanbul. He has published several academic papers about renewable energy and alternative fuel sources for ships.
Ivo’s knowledge is highly sought after and he advises on various committees including EU projects for Horizon 2020 and the new maritime working group for Hydrogen Europe.
