Ken is the Director of Information Systems for Foodbuy’s Data Intelligence Group, working with some of the best and brightest in the foodservice data community.
Ken’s primary role is as product owner for a multi-vendor procurement platform servicing approximately 16,000 operating locations for Compass Group and Foodbuy Member Customers, and onboarding of distributor invoice data, validation and reporting for the Foodbuy GPO. He has a passion for ensuring data accuracy in the systems he manages and ensuring his operators have quality product information available to help assist in their purchasing decisions. In his 22+ years with the organization, Ken has seen significant shifts with in-unit technology, particularly as it relates to operator ordering, inventory, reporting, and manufacturer data.
A rare Charlotte native, Ken and his husband Brian are avid readers, and spend much of their free time out on the water at Badin Lake; they also enjoy travel and spending time with family and friends.
