Hi, my name is Rachel Uy. I’m a second-year Health and Physical Education teacher with Milwaukee Public Schools, currently teaching health to 4th and 5th grade students. I earned my degree in Health and Human Performance from UW-Platteville and am finishing my Physical Education licensure this May through UW-Whitewater. After attending a professional development on EVERFI last year, I’ve integrated their health programs into my classroom, enriching my students' learning with engaging, real-world content. I’m passionate about empowering young learners to lead healthy, active lives both in and out of the classroom.
