Bio
Sara Levine, Q.C., practices law in Vancouver, advising clients in both the public and private sectors on issues of governance, risk management, health law and policy, freedom of information and privacy. She has substantial experience in privacy compliance and ethics; developing data sharing structures and agreements; commenting and consulting on privacy and health legislation; and strategy and board governance. Her public education work on privacy law and policy matters includes creating two public education websites about privacy rights in BC, co-authoring a leading reference work on privacy law and policy, presentations to groups and conferences,
speaking in the media, and participation in consultations with, and submissions to, government. Ms. Levine holds a B.A. from UBC and a J.D. from Queen’s University. She was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2014.
