Travelling back from London in 2016, Scott was sat opposite Peter Hodkinson, MD of Westward Care. Peter explained that recruitment and retention was a big issue for his business and the wider sector. High agency costs, lack of time, and not hiring the right people with the right values were a constant challenge. Scott worked with Peter to identify the problems and developed a solution that works. Subsequently, The Care Hub was born. Agency cost reduction, employee retention and quality of care have been Scott’s focus ever since.
