Mr Ahluwalia is a dedicated fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specialising in foot and ankle surgery at King's College Hospital London and the world renowned Diabetic Foot Clinic.
His practice focuses on all facets of foot and ankle care and is based around major trauma, elective/sports foot and ankle medicine and diabetic foot practice.
He has a specialist diabetic foot practice, at King's DFC Unit and works within the MDfT, undertaking surgical reconstruction for deformity, infection and deformity related to charcot neuroarthropathy.
He understand the principles of surgical offloading and has extensively treated the diabetic "foot attack". He is well aware that "time is tissue" and surgical management is part of the process and has been part of the group who developed the Fast Track Pathway and its adaptation to our current time.
