Rachael Horvath is a Program Manager for the National Safety Council’s Transportation Safety Impact programs. Rachael manages the Drive it Home, teen driving program, building awareness of the importance of parental involvement in driver’s education, Graduated Drivers Licensing Programs, as well as the importance for employers to understand the cost-benefit in encouraging their employees to engage in the driver’s education process with their children. Before working for the National Safety Council, Rachael worked in the public sector, managing offices in the State of Illinois and the United States Senate working on the passage of legislation relating to education, healthcare, technology, and transportation. She holds a degree in Public Law from Northern Illinois University.
