Carmel Schettino taught mathematics at the high school level for over 25 years before becoming a teacher PD director, curriculum writer and consultant specializing in problem-based learning in mathematics. She’s been a member of NCTM since 1999, lives in western Massachusetts and travels extensively to other schools helping them analyze their curriculum and transition to a PBL pedagogy.
