Dr Jen Welter, often referred to simply as “Coach Jen” is best know as the first female to coach in the NFL, when she joined the Arizona Cardinals as an inside linebackers coach in 2015. Prior to that, Coach Jen was the linebackers coach with the Texas Revolution.
In 2017, Welter was the Head Coach of the inaugural Australian Women’s National Team in the International Federation of American Football, and with that she became the first female head coach of a National Team. In 2018, Welter joined the Alliance of American Football as a defensive specialist, assistant defensive line coach.
