Health and Wellbeing Advisor/Link Worker, Wokingham North Primary Care Network (PCN) and Involve Community Services

Jason worked for fifteen years in the charity sector as a direct marketeer and fundraiser in central London, before deciding to change direction and become a youth and children's worker. This saw him move from North West London to Reading. It was there that he spotted a job as a community navigator working for Involve Community Services. By this stage he had realised that he wanted to work directly with people and had already gained many years experience of doing so as a volunteer with young people in Care and vulnerable adults. When the role of Social Prescriber for Wokingham North PCN came up he decided to go for it, as he saw the need and importance of social prescribing in the current climate. He loves his job and finds it incredibly rewarding despite the challenges.
