Ben Edgar is the President and Founder of White Harvest Energy, a Disabled Veteran-Owned Business focusing on development, design, installation and operation of combined heat and power equipment. White Harvest Energy focuses on the distributed generation and microgrid markets particularly in the healthcare and C&I sectors. They bring a unique perspective to the development of future systems as an operator of a microgrids.
Ben held senior positions in the consulting and EPC industry with Worley in the Power division and Black & Veatch in the renewables and microgrids division. Ben holds a Civil Engineering degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is also a registered professional engineer in Tennessee (inactive). Ben served in the U.S. Army as a field artillery officer with the 1st Cavalry Division in Fort Hood, TX. He now lives in Chattanooga, TN with his wife and three sons on a small hobby farm where he enjoys his kids’ sports and other family activities.
