Jonathan Kalman is a Founding General Partner of Eos Venture Partners.

Eos Venture Partners is a Strategic InsurTech Venture Capital firm with offices in London and Philadelphia, and partners in key global markets including Tel Aviv, Munich, Paris and Hong Kong.

Eos is a lead or co-lead investor in Series A and Series B equity funding rounds and focuses on new business models and new technologies that will impact and transform the insurance industry.

Mr. Kalman currently serves as a board member of The Institutes’ RiskStream Collaborative, an insurance industry blockchain initiative; Buckle, Inc., a commercial insurance company focused on the rideshare and gig economy; Player’s Health, Inc., a risk management services and insurance firm focused on sports and recreation; Concirrus, Ltd., the leader in commercial marine analytics; and, Westhill Global, Inc., a firm that provides an Amazon-like experience to manage property claims. Mr. Kalman is a seed investor in RightIndem, Ltd., an early pioneer in digital First Notice of Loss (“FNOL”) solutions for claims.

Previously, Mr. Kalman was Chairman and CEO of Jaguar Capital Partners, a venture capital and growth equity investment firm with offices in Philadelphia and Hong Kong, and prior to that Chairman and CEO of Katalyst Venture Partners, an Internet-focused venture capital firm, with offices in Philadelphia, New York and London.

Mr. Kalman has had many notable exits, including ERisk, a spinout from Oliver Wyman, a division of MMC, acquired by SunGard; blockchain provider INVeSHARE acquired by Broadridge Financial Group (NYSE: BR); Enerwise, acquired by ComVerge; and several IPO’s including Breakaway Solutions (NASDAQ: BWAY), Jaguar Acquisition Corporation (NASDAQ: JGACU); China Cablecom Ltd. (NASDAQ: CABL) and Internet Capital Group (NASDAQ: ICGE), now Actua (NASDAQ: ACTA).
