Tina Gunnarsson is a Temporary Works Engineer for Balfour Beatty and has also spent time working on a large building project at Canary Wharf. Tina has fundraised then travelled to Rwanda with the charity Bridges to Prosperity to construct a suspension footbridge for a remote community, including developing innovative methodology for safe construction of the footbridge. She has also done some great work to raise the profile of Women in Construction including being awarded Best Woman in Civil Engineering & Most Distinguished Winner at the 2019 WICE Awards. And she is involved in a number of initiatives at Balfour Beatty including Engineer of the Future and a reverse mentoring scheme.
