Bio
Dr. Jenny K. Tsankova is an Full Professor of Mathematics Education at Roger Williams
University in Bristol RI, and teaches the mathematics methods courses for elementary and secondary preservice teachers. She is currently modeling lessons, consulting, and providing inservice training for teachers in various school systems in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Dr. Tsankova’s recent research interests have focused on the geometric reasoning of middle and high school students and the integration of international best practices in education in teacher pre-service and in-service training. She is a founder and teacher in a mathematics K-12 after-school program, Number Street Math Academy, in Easton MA.
