Bio
Annie has a passion for working with teachers to give all students an equitable and high-quality mathematics education. As a facilitator of professional learning, through a variety of organizations as well as local and national conferences, she has worked with hundreds of teachers to connect and reflect on their practice. Annie brings experience to professional learning from her 12 years in the classroom as well as 5 years coaching and serving as a district math coordinator. She works for the Metro Chicago Mathematics Initiative out of the University of Illinois Chicago and is also past president of the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics and a Desmos fellow.
