Meg Tremayne is the lead stoma care nurse at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. Meg qualified as a nurse in 1994, at Bristol Royal Infirmary. It was during her time as a student there that she first worked alongside the stoma care team and discovered her passion for stoma care. After 8 years of working around the surgical wards of Bristol Royal Infirmary, she relocated to Cornwall, first working on the colorectal unit, before moving to the stoma care team in 2010. In her current role, she leads a team of eight in supporting patients both in hospital and in the community, covering the beautiful county of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
