Claudia de Campos

Parent Infant Psychotherapist, Anna Freud Centre

Claudia de Sampaio Campos is a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, Psychoanalytic Parent-Infant Psychotherapist, and a Perinatal Psychotherapist. She has trained Child and Adolescent psychotherapist at the Tavistock Clinic and she is also an adult psychotherapist. She has been working with mother and babies since 2001. She has developed the Perinatal Loss Service in 2013 alongside the clinical lead at the Women’s Health division at UCLH. She has been working at the Anna Freud Centre since 2016 and at the Perinatal Mental Health Service for Kensington and Chelsea. Claudia also works in a Paediatric FGM clinic, the first of its kind, working with children and their families. Claudia has consulted for staff, senior staff, and senior managers for maternity and paediatrics as well as the Youth Offending Team and the independent support team for social services and School settings. She teaches at the Parent-Infant Psychotherapy Training at the Anna Freud Centre. She has been a visiting lecturer in several courses at the Tavistock Clinic including Infant Observation since 2008.
