Amanda has been a practicing RVN since 2012, having worked in various veterinary settings, with a passion for intensive care nursing and quality improvement. She moved into education in 2020 teaching student veterinary nurses, before moving to Essity as an inside sales specialist providing wound care education to veterinary professionals. Amanda has written and lectured nationally on wound care and quality improvement and is passionate about bringing evidenced based veterinary nursing to the forefront. She is currently studying for a BSc in Health science to expand her knowledge of public health with a focus on microbiology and antimicrobial resistance.
