Angie Henderson is a Metropolitan Council member serving District 34 in southwest Nashville. She is a five-year member and immediate past chair of the Council’s Public Works Committee and a member and former chair of the Parks, Libraries & Arts Committee. Angie has 20 years of direct experience working with businesses, property owners, neighbors, non-profits and Metro Government for the benefit of neighborhoods and has been a successful advocate and policy maker for a more walkable Nashville. She was the lead sponsor on the Council’s significant and unanimous 2017 expansion of sidewalk requirements and for the August, 2020 legislative expansion of street tree requirements.
