Mark Glock is the Marine Business Development Manager for Sub Saharan Africa at Bureau Veritas Marine and Offshore.. He joined the company in 2014 as a Ships in Service Surveyor based in Durban, South Africa, and has since gained extensive experience in a variety of roles, including as an ISM / ISPS / MLC auditor, equipment and material certification surveyor, and equipment and material certification auditor.
Prior to joining Bureau Veritas, he served in several technical leadership positions, ranging from Fleet Technical Manager for maritime tankers to Technical Director of a biofuels production company. He holds a BTech in Mechanical Engineering as well as a number of industry-specific qualifications.
In his current role, Mark is based in Cape Town, from where he assists clients across Sub Saharan Africa in navigating and thriving within the modern maritime environment. His diverse background and deep expertise in the marine sector have made him a valuable asset to Bureau Veritas and the clients he serves.
