Mike has been in the tax business for over 40 years. He began working in IRS
collection and then as an Office Auditor. This included temporary assignments to the
Atlanta Service Center, Review Staff, and a Revenue Agent Class Instructor
assignment. Upon leaving the service, he received his EA in 1989. He then worked for
a tax attorney and estate planning firm before starting his own tax company in 2001.
That company, Garrison Tax, has an office in Lawrenceville, GA. He currently serves on
the board of the NATP’s Georgia State Chapter.
