Charles Toulemonde is an engineer from the Centrale-Supélec engineering school, he has a PhD in science on the non-linear, chaotic dynamic behavior of structures (1997). He was hired at EDF R&D after his thesis as a research engineer. He worked on the simulation of the behavior of nuclear fuel and civil engineering structures. He currently coordinates the OFFERR project in parallel with his research activity on containment buildings.
