Gary J. Ross is a founding partner of Ross & Shulga PLLC, a securities law boutique focused on venture capital and private equity, corporate governance, and general corporate matters. Gary has extensive experience advising as to SEC-registered and exempt capital markets transactions, and also regularly counsels investment advisers as to registration and compliance matters.

Gary formerly worked in the Capital Markets and Corporate Transactions & Securities practice groups at Sidley Austin LLP and Alston & Bird LLP, respectively. From 2009 to 2012, Mr. Ross served in the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where he oversaw financial agents engaged by Treasury to provide services relating to the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP).

Gary is an adjunct professor at Brooklyn Law School, where he teaches Transactional Skills for Startups, and Seton Hall Law School, where he teaches Regulating Broker-Dealers. He has been quoted in articles in MarketWatch, Corporate Counsel, The New York Times and the Associated Press. Gary is a 2004 graduate of Northwestern University School of Law and a 1994 graduate of the University of Miami.
