Geo Concepcion is president and CEO of The Greene Turtle Sports Bar and Grille, a start-up Maryland-based craft beer and sports bar concept. Since joining the brand in March 2019, he’s led Greene Turtle to positive sales for the first time in over two years. When COVID-19 hit, the brand went from nearly 700 employees down to 30 and went from more than a dozen locations to just four units operating via off-premises only. Now, Geo is using his past eight years of experience where he served as COO of Famous Dave's BBQ, a 125+ unit BBQ chain, to guide the franchise and fuel its growth through COVID-19, reopening its locations, and developing a new menu for the brand as they continue to evolve its model to a changing consumer.
