His financing experience, including complex acquisition underwriting, default workout strategies and loan document negotiation, combined with Etkin Johnson’s strong financial resources and long-standing relationships, helps bring Etkin Johnson’s visionary acquisition approach to fruition. Derek is a fourth generation Coloradan which helps him identify trends in the marketplace and capitalize on opportunities that arise. Over his career, Derek has been involved in more than $750 million in real estate transactions. He is active in multiple real estate organizations including NAIOP and ULI and was recognized in 2018 as one of Colorado’s Top 25 Young Professionals by ColoradoBiz magazine.
