Robert Stein is a seasoned expert in international trade with over 34 years of experience in customs brokerage, regulatory compliance, and freight forwarding. His specialties include import/export compliance, FTZs, Duty Drawback, HTS classification, and free trade agreements like USMCA. A Licensed Customs Broker since 1997 and Certified Customs Specialist, Robert has trained teams across the U.S. and played a key role in compliance strategy at Mohawk Global before joining Braumiller Consulting Group.
Robert actively engages in shaping trade policy, working with CBP on pilot programs and contributing to the future of ACE. He frequently speaks at events hosted by the SBA, Department of Commerce, NAFTZ, NCBFAA, and universities. He currently serves on the NCBFAA Customs Committee and chairs the NEI Advisory Council.
