Bio
Gawtam Jhoty earned his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at McGill University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree at San Diego State University. Following school, he has worked as a mechanical design engineer in the design of thermal sensors and valves for the semi-conductor industry, emergency breathing devices, and CNG gas cylinders. Since joining nVent SCHROFF in 2012, he has designed and developed various torque limiting PCBA retainers and high thermal performance PCBA Retainers, as well as conduction and liquid cooled modules, chassis and thermal test fixtures for ruggedized applications. He is currently a working member of the VITA standards.
