Susan Thames is the Director and Federal Market Lead with Miller Remick in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry, with expertise in business development, operations, marketing, and strategic growth. A proven executive team leader, Susan specializes in building strong client relationships, leading strategic pursuits, and developing forward-thinking strategies that deliver successful results.
A dedicated member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) since 2007, Susan has held numerous leadership roles within the Society. She served as President of the SAME New Jersey Post from 2013–2015 and currently serves as an appointed Director. Additional leadership includes serving on the SAME Foundation Board from 2017–2025, as an elected Director on the SAME Board of Direction and National Leadership Academy (NLA), and as Vice Chair of the SAME AOF North Atlantic Region Fellows. Susan was named a SAME Fellow in the Class of 2019.
