Bio
Rita leads Wolf’s International Tax Practice, where she focuses on tax planning and compliance for international holdings. Rita has extensive experience advising clients on the tax aspects of cross-border business activities, structuring international investments, and the United States compliance obligations relating to these activities and investments for both entities and individuals. Prior to joining Wolf, Rita was in private practice as an Associate Attorney at the law firm of Vacovec, Mayotte & Singer, LLP where she focused in the areas of international and domestic taxation, estate planning, and tax controversy.

Rita is an Adjunct Professor at the Graduate Tax Program at Boston University School of Law where she co-founded and co-teaches “Foreign Information Reporting and Withholding.”
Rita also teaches various other international tax topics for Strafford Publications and Wolter Kluwer.
Rita is an active member of the International Fiscal Association and has presented at the International Tax Specialist Group.
Rita is a graduate of Marist College (BA 2004, cum laude), Western New England University School of Law (J.D. 2007), and Boston University School of Law (LL.M. Tax 2008). Rita graduated as a Fellow from the Massachusetts Bar Association Leadership Academy and was appointed as a member of the MBA’s Taxation Law Section Council in 2018. Rita is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and Boston Bar Association.
