Starting in the industry with Perrys in 1984 as an apprentice technician, Darren joined the Sytner Group in 2004 as Sales Director in the BMW Division, rising to become Group CEO, 10 years later.
Since becoming CEO, Darren’s strategic thinking and passion for the business has seen the Sytner Group grow to become the UK’s largest dealer group, with revenues of just under £6BN from its premium band portfolio and standalone used car business, CarShop.
Named by AM as their 2018 Business Leader of the Year, Darren is a keen cyclist and self-confessed petrol-head and spends his spare time pursuing both hobbies and enjoying precious time with his family.
