Postgraduate Researcher and activist based at the School of International Development (DEV). Currently working on the ethnography of downtown locality of Srinagar (Capital city of Indian controlled Kashmir and one of the hubs of popular resistance against Indian state in Kashmir). The ethnography explores the everyday state-society transactions with a special focus on the people that question the legitimacy of the state. He is the founder of the online (Kashmir centered) research and awareness platform 'Pe'nd Online'.
