Clayton Pecknold was appointed the Police Complaint Commissioner by the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia on February 14, 2019. Prior to that, he served for 8 years as the Assistant Deputy Minister and Director of Police Services for British Columbia after having served 25 years in policing as an RCMP officer, legal counsel and Deputy Chief Constable.
