Bio
Leo Muijs has worked over 40 years for Fokker in The Netherlands, now part of GKN Aerospace. He has held several positions in design and manufacturing engineering, materials and processes, project management and R&D. His background is in metal, composites and fiber metal laminates (design and industrialization), and assembly automation. Currently, Leo leads the R&D assembly team as chief technologist and is the technical lead for several European projects, including STUNNING, in which GKN Fokker is responsible for the lower half of the multi-function fuselage demonstrator. Leo holds a master's degree in manufacturing systems engineering from Warwick University in the U.K.
