Brent Beatty is the VP of Product at 7shifts, a Lightspeed partner that gives restaurants the team management tools they need to make more profitable decisions, improve operational efficiency, and boost employee retention. Having grown up working in restaurants, Brent has done it all from cooking and cleaning to serving, bartending, and managing. These cornerstone experiences with restaurant teams still inform his work to this day. After completing his marketing degree, Brent worked in various industries including hospitality, telecom, and market research before discovering product management. Today he helps his team at 7shifts to contextualize and understand the restaurant industry, to generate more of the right data, and to leverage that data to make labor management easier for restaurants. In his spare time he loves to travel, eat too much, and coach his daughters' sports teams.
