For nearly a decade Kelly has been working to understand and break cycles of concentrated poverty and the imbalanced distribution of economic opportunity, equity & wealth in her neighborhood. In 2014, she started a company dedicated to dissecting, navigating, challenging and changing systems of oppression through community development and preservation as well as every aspect of the built environment. Kelly works to build opportunities from within and among her North Nashville neighbors and the larger black community in which she lives, works and invests. With even more urgency and purpose, Kelly continues to seek like-minded partners to help strategize and share knowledge, skills, resources and networks in order to rise together and never alone.
