Bio
Lucy initially study sports and exercise science, where her passion for nutrition lead her to retrain as a dietitian in 2011. Starting out as an adult dietitian, Lucy quickly developed an interest in paediatrics and has been working in this area ever since.
Having worked at busy district hospitals and specialist allergy services in London, Lucy is now the lead dietitian in the MDT gastro-allergy service at a large Children’s Hospital. Lucy also specialises in paediatric gastroenterology, focusing on parenteral nutrition, irritable bowel disease, food intolerance / gastrointestinal food allergy, gastrostomy feed, gastrointestinal surgery and bowel dysmotility conditions.
In addition, Lucy forms part of the teaching team on the British Dietetic Association Paediatric Masters Modules, has been a guest speaker at various teaching forums across London and is a member of the BSPGHAN working group for eosinophilic oesophagitis.
