Bio
Joe holds an M.S. in Organizational Leadership (2007) and a B.S. in Psychology (1998) from the College of Mount St. Joseph. With 26 years in the criminal justice field, he has built a career centered on evidence-based practices, staff development, and program innovation. For 19 years, Joe served at River City Correctional Center as Program Director, overseeing CBT programs including Thinking for a Change, CBI–Substance Abuse, and CBI–Employment. He now works for the Hamilton County Adult Probation Department, where he implemented a Medication-Assisted Treatment program and serves as Quality Assurance Director supporting a Risk-Based Supervision Model. Joe also partners with the University of Cincinnati Corrections Institute to provide training in CBI–Foundations, Core Correctional Practices, Case Planning, Motivational Interviewing, and Continuous Quality Improvement.
