Dr. Chambers received his PhD in
electrical engineering from Queen’s
University of Belfast. In his 13 years
at Caterpillar, he has held several
key technical positions, building
expertise in complex power systems
integration, diesel and gas genset
electrical design, product testing
and validation, battery energy
storage systems, and microgrid
controls. Keith is a Chartered
Engineer and has published several
papers in international journals
and two Caterpillar patents. Today,
Keith represents Caterpillar in
industry associations, technical
committees, and working groups
relating to grid codes and relevant
standards, supporting dealers and
customers in understanding grid
code requirements, and providing
technical consultancy for system
integration and grid connection
approvals.
